DIRECTIONS TO CAMP
Camp Quest Ohio is located at 4H Camp Canter’s Cave in Jackson, Ohio
Camp Session: June 30 - July 6
ARRIVAL
Sunday, June 30, 2:00 - 3:30 P.M. (EDT)
NOTE: We are unable to register campers prior to 2:00pm.
Registration Procedures:
Registration takes place in the Dining Hall at Canter’s Cave.
NOTE: Leave luggage in vehicle.
Step 1) Check-In/Paperwork/Pay Balance of Camper Fees
Step 2) Turn in food/electronics
Step 3) Receive name tag and cabin assignment
Step 4) Camper History Check with Lead Counselors
Step 5) Medical Check/Meet Camp Nurse (Turn in medications)
After completing all steps in the Dining Hall, vehicles then can drive to the dorm area:
Step 6) Meet cabin leader, move luggage in to cabin, and Get Ready to Have a Good Time
CHECK OUT
Saturday, July 6, 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. (EDT)
Report to the Dining Hall to sign camper out. Once sign out is complete at the Dining Hall, then luggage can be picked up at the dorm.
Camp Quest must leave Camp Canter’s Cave by Noon to allow the campground to prepare for the next camp group. If you are unable to pick up your campers by then, please contact Shawn Jeffers at 513.404.8191 for an alternate pick up location.

From Columbus:
Follow US Route 23 (South) from Columbus to Chillicothe. Take US Route 35 (EAST) in Chillicothe towards Jackson. After about (22) twenty two miles on US Route 35 (EAST) you will come to a green and white highway sign indicating “Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp 1 mile. Immediately turn LEFT onto Township Road #223 (Caves Road). Follow this road for approximately (1) one mile. Turn LEFT onto gravel drive at the Elizabeth L. Evans Outdoor Education Center Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp sign. Follow gravel road to Main Lodge located at end of gravel drive.
From Dayton:
Take US Route 35 (EAST) to Chillicothe. Follow directions listed above from Columbus.
From Cincinnati:
Take US Route 32 (EAST) to Jackson. At the intersection of US 32 and US 35, turn (WEST) onto US 35 (toward Chillicothe). Follow US 35 for approximately five (5) miles, you will come to a green and white highway sign indicating “Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp 1 mile. Immediately turn RIGHT onto Township Road #223 (Caves Road). Follow this road for approximately (1) one mile. Turn LEFT onto gravel drive at the Elizabeth L. Evans Outdoor Education Center Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp sign. Follow gravel road to Main Lodge located at end of gravel drive
